Team Verdict's first tournament of 2008 was the Onekama Marine Shakedown held on May 24th and 25th from the ports Arcadia, Manistee and Onekama, Michigan.  The team had high hopes from two days of successful prefishing on Thursday and Friday.  We were not disappointed on Saturday where were were able to catch several large salmon which are rare for the time of year placing us 5th after Day 1.  Fishing on Day 2 proved to be more difficult, but the team was able to scrap out just enough weight to maintain a 5th place in the overall tournament and 5th place in the 333 and a great start to the 2008 season!
