Tim caught his first salmon in 1986 and has been chasing salmon and trout all over the Great Lakes ever since.  He began captaining his own boat in 1999 and since that point has worked tirelessly to put together a highly motivated fishing team to compete on the Lake Michigan Tournament Trail.  As the Captain, Tim is the chief strategist on the water where his key responsibilities consist of locating fish and developing effective trolling spreads.  Additionally, he is responsible for team organization and scheduling.

When Tim is not fishing, he stays busy working as a state & local tax attorney in the downtown Detroit offices of an international accounting and consulting firm.

Ryan started fishing with the team in 1997 and with the exception of an 18 month hiatus to work as a contractor in Iraq has been actively involved ever since.  He is the jack-of-all-trades on the boat with an innate ability to step into any role when the need arises.  He is equally at home rigging and setting the spread, fighting and netting fishing, or getting the boat on the most productive troll.

When not on the water, Ryan travels the United States working as a field manager for a national logistics management company.

Lance is the most recent addition to Team Verdict joining the team for the first time to fish the 2008 Manistee Salmon Splash, but do not confuse his lack of history with the team for lack of experience.  He has years of experience under his belt fishing on both Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.  He made an immediate impact with his unique experiences with a variety of unique rigging and species specific techniques.  Lance has quickly become a fixture on the back deck of the boat working the rods and tweaking the spread for maximum effectiveness. 

During his time away from the tournament trail, Lance works for a Plymouth, Michigan based engineering firm where he is involved in a variety of automotive testing and benchmarking processes. 

Jeff is the owner of Traxstech Corportation, the fishing industry's premier manufacturer of integrated track-based fishing systems since 1999.  He was first introduced to the team in 2002 through a pair of Ludington-based charter captains and has been one of the primary sponsors of Team Verdict ever since. 

After several years of competing on the Lake Michigan Tournament Trail with another professional team, Jeff joined Team Verdict in 2006.  Although a more recent addition to the crew, Jeff had fished with the various members of the team in the preceding seasons as part of the process of product research and development.

In addition to his strong fishing skills, Jeff also brings to the team innovative boat rigging concepts that help efficiently utilize space on the boat and to maximize our trolling spread.

Rob is one of the original members of Team Verdict.  While he has occupied many roles over the course of time, he excels at the helm.  Rob has an incredible skill of dialing in the direction and speed of our troll to maximize the effectiveness of our program.  From his vantage point at the helm, he is able to direct the rest of the team members to most effectively control the action no matter how fast and furious. 

In addition to serving as the wheelman for Team Verdict, Rob works in Bay City, Michigan for one of the world's largest privately held corporations and focuses on the production of consumer products made of extruded plastics.

After fishing with others and on his own boat for several years, Jeff joined Team Verdict on late notice for the Manistee Budweiser Pro/Am in 2005 and instantly clicked.  He brings a high energy style that helps to keep everyone motivated and focused on the task at hand.  Jeff has a broad set of fishing skills from his experience captaining his own boat, but during team events focuses primarily on rigging and rod handing duties. 

His time off the water is spent working for a Ludington, Michigan based beverage distribution company and investing in rental real estate.
