Verdict III returning to Ludington weigh-in 2006

Verdict III is a 27' Albemarle Express Fisherman. Albemarle Boats are built in Edenton, North Carolina and are specifically designed to be the best riding boats in their class. Her quality contruction, superior ride and fishability provides the Team an advantage over the competition because we are able to run faster and further and fish harder no matter the conditions. True to Albemarle's slogan, the boat is "the best way to fish and back."

She came factory equipped with twin Volvo Penta carbureted 5.7L engines and are connected to twin Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrives via jackshaft drivetrains. In preparation for 2007 season, she was professionally repowered by Johnson's Supreme Marine in Ludington with a pair of 2007 Crusader Captain's Choice 5.7L multi-port fuel injected motors that produce 330 h.p. each which will run through new stainless steel duoprops. These modifications to the powertrain proved to significantly improve our time to plane, speed and fuel economy.
